Celebrity readers:
We would love for you to come in as a Celebrity Reader! If you’re interested in coming in to read a book of your choice to the class, please email me or send in a note. Your child would love to see you at school!
Arrival and Dismissal
Please be sure your child is in our line in the junior high yard by 7:50 every morning (but no earlier than 7:30). If he/she is not in line by that time, he/she is considered late and will miss prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. If your child isn’t in line with the class by the time we enter the building, he/she will need to check in at the office.
At the end of the day, Mrs. Chauff and I will walk students out a few minutes earlier than most other grades to try to make pick up easier. Your child MUST give me a fist bump before leaving so I can see him/her leave with the appropriate person. If your child is not picked up by 3 pm (or 12:30 on Fridays), he/she will be placed in Day Care at your expense. If your child is going to be picked up by someone other than yourself, please send a note or email, so I am aware.

Breakfast and Snack
Please be sure your child eats a healthy, filling breakfast. Students are more engaged and focused when they eat a healthy breakfast.
We will be having snack time each day in the morning. Please send a small snack (one or two items) with your child each day. If possible, it would be easiest for your child’s snack to be labeled or separated so he/she knows what should be eaten at snack and what should be saved so there is some food left for lunch.

Restroom
We will have restroom breaks throughout the day and your child is also welcome to use the restroom whenever necessary. With that being said, please also have your child use the restroom before coming to school as it will help minimize interruptions in the beginning of our day. If an accident does happen, the school provides extra clothes. If extra clothes are sent home with your child, please wash them and send them back to school as soon as possible.
